Johanna Chumley was born in 1979 in Germany.  Even as a young girl, she could always be found drawing. At the age of 12, she began taking drawing lessons at the community center at Offit Air Force Base in Omaha, NE.  She continued these lessons for two years honing her skills by recreating drawings and even producing a few originals.
