During the next three years, before she began college, Johanna took various drawing and painting classes at the School of Light in Leesburg, VA.  She looked forward to continuing to develop her passion of drawing.  While in college, Johanna minored in Art and began teaching private art lessons.  Her students were loyal and several continued lessons for all three years that they were provided.

As a gift for an anniversary, her aunt requested that she draw a portrait from a photo of her and her husband from their wedding ten years ago.  They had not had any professional photography at the time and wanted a special way to perserve the memories of that day.  Johanna agreed and the ball began rolling.  Now, she has not only had artwork commissioned for wedding invitations, but for new babies, business logos, memorials, and Christmas gifts.  She is grateful for the chance to share her fine art gift with you.
